Spotify, Foxconn, Panasonic, DCA, & GBMC Cyber Incidents | Breach Report

In this episode of the breach report, we dive into the recent cyber incidents of GBMC, Spotify, DCA, Panasonic India, and Foxconn. Many of the modern-day cyber attacks use ransomware as the delivery system in order to encrypt files and demand payment to regain access. Sometimes files are deleted and sometimes they’re sold off to the highest bidder.

What can organizations or even individuals do to protect themselves against this threat? Continuously patching vulnerabilities and creating physical backups might be the answer.
