It's 1985, brand new Honda crx si, red and grey two tone, I'm 18 just cruising with a white t-shirt sun roof open, I end up at the Detroit metropolitan airport on the top of the deck parking, opened the two doors the hatch and of course the sunroof, blaring this song, only because one of my best friends turned me on to Prince, he took us to his concert, Sheila E open up, anyway, the blue lights from the airport, I'm sitting on the ledge, my car the only one on top floor of the deck parking, the beautiful stars above, the blue lights of the airport, wow, tears to my eyes sweet Bailey, no turning back now though, and nobody bother us back then, even security didn't ask what was I doing up there, free, the stars the music my car the blue landing lights, freedom for my soul and my youth, sweet memories, wish you were there.
